Dear Customers,

We are writing to let you know we had an unplanned network issue with one of our external transit providers this morning on the Dallas Peering Exchange.

At around 11:20am CDT 7/24/2017 we began to experience higher than normal latency to our network, shorthly thereafter one of our larger peers began to flap, which began to cause issues with transit delivery to our customers in Dallas TX.

After immediately pinpointing the issue, our engineers took immediate steps to remove the BGP peer from our core backbone in Dallas to stabalize any issues with customers effected by the peer.

As a result of our quick action, the network issue has been resolved. Due to the change in BGP, some customers may have experienced convergence related time-outs and latency while the routes full converged.
